Privacy notice
How KLINCK uses the details you share with us.

This notice explains what KLINCK does with the details you share through this website, by email or by phone. We collect only what we need to answer you and we never sell your details.
Who we are
KLINCK is Klinck Surfaces Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17525333). Our registered office is 27 Sheep Hill Lane, New Longton, Preston PR4 4YN. We are the controller of your personal data. For anything about your data, email [email protected] or call 07749 877013.
What we collect
- Sample requests: your name, email address, delivery address, the samples you choose and any notes.
- Project enquiries: your name, email address, phone number if you give it, project type and stage, areas, delivery postcode, timescale, the collections you like, any notes and any plans, drawings or photos you upload.
- Register interest and contact forms: your name, email address, phone number if you give it and your message.
- Emails and calls: whatever you choose to tell us.
Please don’t send us sensitive information such as health details. We don’t need it.
How we use it and why
- To send your samples, answer your questions, arrange visits or video calls and prepare a quotation. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before a contract and, if you order, performing that contract.
- To keep records of enquiries and orders, protect the website from spam and meet our tax and legal duties. The legal basis is our legitimate interests and our legal obligations.
- To send occasional news about new collections, only if you tick the box. The legal basis is your consent. You can unsubscribe at any time by replying to any email or using the link in it.
Who we share it with
We use a small number of trusted services to run the website and handle your enquiry. They act only on our instructions and must keep your details secure:
- Cloudflare hosts this website, processes the forms and stores a copy of each enquiry.
- Resend delivers the emails sent when you submit a form, from servers in Ireland.
- Google Workspace provides our email.
- Whiteski Digital, our web developer, maintains the website and may see enquiries when fixing a problem.
- Couriers and manufacturers receive your name and delivery details when we post samples or arrange a delivery.
Some of these companies are based in the United States or may handle data outside the UK. Where that happens, the transfer is protected by the UK’s approved safeguards, such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or the UK–US data bridge.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries and sample requests that don’t lead to an order: up to 2 years, so we can help if you come back to your project.
- Quotations, orders and invoices: 6 years after the end of the tax year they relate to, as the law requires.
- Marketing preferences: until you unsubscribe. We then keep only your email address on a do-not-contact list.
Cookies and your browser
We don’t use advertising or analytics cookies. Your shortlist and calculator figures are saved in your own browser so they are still there next time. They stay on your device and you can clear them at any time. Our fonts are served from this website, so your browser doesn’t connect to any outside font service.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it or delete it, object to how we use it, ask us to restrict it or take back your consent to marketing at any time. Email [email protected] and we’ll reply within one month.
If you’re unhappy with how we handle your data, please tell us first so we can put it right. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
