Porcelain is one of the most practical choices for a kitchen floor. It shrugs off spills, doesn’t need sealing and works brilliantly over underfloor heating.

For open-plan kitchens that open onto the garden, choose a collection with a matching outdoor version and carry the same floor straight through onto the terrace.

Common questions

Is porcelain suitable for underfloor heating?

Yes. Porcelain conducts heat well and is a popular choice over underfloor heating. Your installer should follow the heating and adhesive manufacturers’ guidance.

Are they easy to clean and maintain?

Yes. Porcelain is dense and non-porous, so day-to-day it just needs sweeping and a mop with a neutral cleaner. It won’t fade or stain like natural stone.

Can I order samples first?

Yes. Choose up to three colours and we’ll post free cut samples to any UK mainland address, usually within 2–3 working days.
